I feel extra loved today.
The man brought all the ladies in his life to Kin Kin Chilli Pan Mee for lunch (his lovely mom, two aunts and grandma) and packed a delicious doggy bag of noodle goodness home for me. Soon as he arrived home he came running to our room announcing his return, went to the kitchen, put the noodles in a bow and warmed them up for me.
Awwwwwwww~!
Then after watching a few episodes of Suits, he suggested washing Dewberry (my car). I felt a little lazy, told him perhaps we can do it later, and I fell asleep. When I woke up 30 mins after my cat nap, I went downstairs to find Dewber all nicely cleaned and polished.
Is my man awesome or what?!
Little things do count in relationships I guess. Like how I enjoy making lunch boxes for him to bring to work in the morning. We don't really have the privilege of having breakfast together. Sometimes when we managed to shop for some good ham or bacon over the weekend, I will make him some to bring to work the following week. Short of not treating him like a child and make him cute and funny-faced lunches, I'd throw in his favorite drink or some snacks into the lunch box, sometimes with a fun and heart-warming note.
Every couple has different ways of pleasing each other. I'd have to say that little things like these work for ours.
